The original Mercury 7 astronauts created the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, which financially helps students in STEM fields among helping in other ways too. Looks like a great organization. Jared Issacman recently pledged $500,000 to it… the largest one-time individual gift in its history.

Artemis III crew members: Randy Bresnik (commander), Luca Parmitano (pilot), Frank Rubio (mission specialist), Andre Douglas (mission specialist). Aiming to fly in 2027. (No earlier than mid-2027).
The crew for the Artemis III mission will be announced at a live event on June 9th. (per NASA news release) The event will be streamed live on the NASA YouTube channel.
Today, NASA announced further plans for its upcoming Moon Base. New contracts awarded included the cargo lander, two rovers and the reconnaissance drones of MoonFall. Plus, there’s a new website with all of the details along with the news release.
